Do you dare to enter the YMCA’s 17th annual Haunted House? If you do, bring a friend so you make it out alive.
The Haunted House opens for tours Friday, October 26th and Saturday, October 27th located on the corner of Oak and Robinson Streets in downtown Oroville. This year’s “Horror at the Movies” theme will have your favorite horror movie characters come to life. You are sure to be terrified and screaming from room to room.
In the beginning you are held in a waiting area where paranormal activity may occur. Then you enter not knowing who will jump out from your worst nightmare. Creepy clowns, chainsaws, dead animals, zombies, deceiving mirrors, and bloody victims are just a few things to be concerned about. The tour gets increasingly scary as you go further in. Move quickly and stay with your group for the best chance of survival. A few strayed from their group last year and we never saw them again!
Guided tours run between 7:00 p.m. and 9: 00 p.m. and cost $5 for 13 and older and $3 for 12 and younger. Advanced tickets go on sale October 1st. This event is not recommended for pregnant women; people with injured backs; people prone to heart attacks, seizures; and, children under age 5. Everyone enters at their own risk! For more information contact the YMCA at 533-9622 or visit them on the corner of Oak and Robinson Streets in downtown Oroville. Also check us out on facebook.com/orovilley for more information.
