Pleasant Valley High School Foundation To Hold Fourth Annual ‘Viking Pride Night’
The Pleasant Valley High School Foundation (PVHS Foundation) will hold its Fourth Annual ‘Viking Pride Night’ with special recognition of alumni Debbie LaPlant Moseley ’73, Steve O’Bryan ’73, and Sergeant Michael Trost ‘82 on October 13th, 2012, at Butte Creek Country Club. The event begins at 6:00 P.M.
Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased at Pleasant Valley High School or by calling Sue Bruce at (530) 345–3953, by sending a check made payable to PVHSF P.O. Box 4485, Chico, CA 95927 or online at www.pvhsfoundation.org.
“We’re proud to honor Debbie, Steve, and Michael at our fourth annual Viking Pride Night,” said Dan Beadle, President of the PVHS Foundation. “Debbie, Steve, and Michael were outstanding students at Pleasant Valley High School and continue to play an important role in helping to shape our community’s future.”
The evening will include dinner, live auction as well as raffles for themed gift baskets. Buffet dinner includes your choice of Tri–Tip, Salmon, three salads, four desserts, coffee or tea.
Viking Pride Night, a fundraiser, will help generate funds for the PVHS Foundation’s annual grant program. These classroom-based grants are awarded to teachers for educational activities that directly engage students both inside and outside of the classroom. Last year, the PVHS Foundation granted over $8000 dollars back to Pleasant Valley in the form of teacher grants.
The PVHS Foundation’s mission is to provide sustainable, long-term financial support by developing philanthropic giving while encouraging, strengthening, and honoring connections among students, staff, alumni, and friends of PV High School.
