President of Butte Community College to Speak on Sept. 15

The Oroville Branch of The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is pleased to announce that Dr. Kim Perry, President of Butte Community College will speak on how the college supports the community at its September 15th meeting.  Our organization is proud of the work we do supporting young women by providing educational experiences in Math and Science.  The Oroville branch of AAUW also enjoys gourmet dinners, a bridge group, play-reading group, book-discussion group and monthly outings.   Lunch will be served at the Western Pacific Brewing and Dining banquet room, 2191 High Street, Oroville 11:30 a. m. Saturday, September 15.  Anyone interested in hearing Dr. Perry speak and learning more about AAUW is invited to attend as a guest and meet some of the girls who have just returned from Tech Trek, a weeklong Math and Science Camp held at UC Davis.
