Oroville Candidate Forum

DECISION 2012, the Oroville candidate’s forum will be held on October 10, 2012 to fill vacancies on the Oroville City Council as well as the Feather River Parks and Recreation District Board. The forum will be held at the State Theatre at 1489 Myers Street in downtown Oroville.
Oroville Exchange Club is the traditional host of the local election forums. This event will take place from 6pm to 8pm and follow the Exchange Club’s usual format.  Jim Moll will be the evening’s master of ceremonies.  Representatives of major local media will function as the questioning panel for this opportunity to explore areas of interest to voters for the November election.
Butte College will again video the event for the Exchange Club, with the expertise of Mark Speer, media guru at Butte College.  This event will serve as a major teaching event for Butte College media students under Mark Speer’s guidance.
