Oroville Pros & Cons on State Ballot Initiatives
The League of Women Voters of Butte County and the Oroville branch of the American Association of University Women invite the public to an Oroville Pros & Cons on State Ballot Propositions on Wednesday, October 24 beginning at 7 p.m. in the Oroville branch library, 1820 Mitchell Ave. You’ll learn what each measure would do if it passes, how it would affect the state budget, which groups support or oppose the propositions, which of the leading newspapers throughout the state support or oppose these initiatives, and who is funding these initiatives.
