Art in the Park
The Downtown Chico Business Association (DCBA) is proud to announce that “Art in the Park” begins its 7th season this week at the Friday Night Concerts. Children will enjoy this free, creative outlet during the concerts each week in June, July and August.
“Art in the Park” is sponsored and hosted by the Chico Art Center whose instructors coordinate new and exciting projects each week. Creations are appropriate for children of all ages and use a range of mediums. Projects include mosaics, masks, watercolor, collages and more.
Located in beautiful City Plaza, Downtown Chico’s Friday Night Concerts (FNC) are held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. weekly through September 26th. The concerts, known as a Chico summertime tradition, offer a place for the community to gather and socialize in the heart of the city. The 21-week series is free to the public and highlights a diverse line-up of quality entertainment. From blues to funk and from country to reggae – the concerts delight people of all ages.
