Blood Drive
Be a hero and enter for a chance to win a trip to New York to see the All-Star Game, before they demolish The Yankee Stadium at the end of the season! Few people have been given the opportunity to be a hero or lifesaver, but when people give blood, that’s exactly what they’ve become!
Shasta Blood Center’s Bloodmobile will be parked in various places, so look for us at:
Chico Wal-Mart- Tues, June 4th (1pm- 6pm)
Chico Sports Club- Wed, June 11th (2pm- 6pm)
Farmer’s Market in Chico- Thurs, June 12th (6pm-9pm)
Oroville Curtice-Williams Properties & Framed by Wendy- Sat, June 21st (12pm- 4pm)
Paradise Fit One- Thurs, June 26th (10am- 2pm)
All donors will be given a free T-shirt and be entered in for a chance to win a trip for two, which includes two tickets to the All-Star Game, Home Run Competition, airfare and three nights in a mid-town hotel! For more info, call 227-5155
Those who plan to donate should drink lots of water and eat a low-fat meal prior to donating. Donors must be at least 17, be in good health, and bring ID.
