State Skateboard Competition, May 17
The United Skateboard Federation’s California Amateur Skateboard League (CASL) is coming to Oroville May 17th from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Bedrock Bike and Skate Park on Feather River Blvd in Oroville. For More information about CASL see http://www.caslusf.com/
The event brings skateboarders and their families from all over Northern California to a different skatepark each month to compete in the league. The FKO-sponsored Skate Team consists of Dylan Hilton, 14; Skylar Bowers, 14; Nick Gains, 17; and Zach Shaner, 17 all from Oroville.
The local FKO team is currently ranked #1 in the League after competing in Yuba City in January, Tehachapi in February, Pacifica in March and Cameron Park in April. For more information on the event, please call 533-4548 or 632-4303.
