Teddy Bears Needed!

The Traci Bear program needs to collect 100 teddy bears to be distributed to children who are at UC Davis Medical Center this month.  The bears can be any shape, size, or color, but must be new with their tags still attached.
The Traci Bear program began in loving memory of Traci Brown, a Gridley High School teenager, who suffered with a brain tumor and died at the age of 15.  A teddy bear that was given to her gave her much comfort during her months of hospitalization.
When she died, her father and friends from the Gridley High School Leadership Class decided to have a “bear raiser” each year to collect teddy bears for suffering children at UC Davis.
It is simple to donate bears!  Call Krista Brown at 530-844-1068 or drop them off at the Traci Bear booth at the Red Suspender’s Day celebration on Saturday, May 17th in Gridley.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
