Gold Rush Car Show, May 10
Oro Dam Cruisers will be sponsoring the Gold Rush Car Show on Saturday, May 10th in Oroville’s historic downtown area. That’s Feather Fiesta Days weekend, which features cars, music, food, parade, quilt show, chili cook-off, craft fair in Sank Park, St. Thomas Springfest—the list goes on and on!
Friday, May 9th features Kiwanis Kiddies Parade at 4 p.m. (538-8603), and the Cruise In/Show and Shine at Hobbie’s Auto Center from 5-8 p.m. (533-4626).
Come down and join the fun! Many makes and models will be rolling in. Maybe even the same year and model you took your first date out in! Come reminisce, enjoy the excitement of horsepower, ooo and aaw at the paint jobs. Vote for your favorite for the People’s Choice Award. Listen to the sounds of “Feedbac.”
Oro Dam Cruisers thank all the sponsors that participate in the Gold Rush Car Show: Feather Falls Casino, Hobbie Auto Center, Les Schwab Tires, Golden State Auto Body, Ken’s Paint Store, Duckback Products, Oroville Tool Supply, Fugate Insurance Agency Inc., Metal Works, and Oroville Mercury-Register.
All proceeds go to local, non-profit agencies and projects. A BIG thank you to Bob Buskirk and his committees for all the hard work that goes into the planning and set-up of the Gold Rush Car Show.
