Garden Club Designer Luncheon, April 26
The Designer’s Luncheon will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Depot. Tickets are still available. For information please call: Jackie at 589-0346. You may purchase tickets at Jackson’s Glass and the Oroville Chamber of Commerce Office.
The Annual Designer Luncheon has been a part of the Lake Oroville Area Garden Club almost from its inception. This year’s Luncheon will feature Flower Design and will be presented by Myrtle Findley, a National Council Master Judge.

Master Judges take extensive classes in Design and Horticulture and must past rigorous tests to be qualified. We are honored to have her as our guest. She will be bringing several of her flower designs to the luncheon and some of them will be raffled off to lucky attendees.
The Lake Oroville Area Garden Club was created in 2004 from the Kelly Ridge Garden Club that started in 1982. The Lake Oroville Area Garden Club became a member of the California and the National Garden Clubs at that time.
The Lake Oroville Area Garden Club is active in many civic projects, such as beautification of public areas such as: The Chinese Temple and The Bolt Museum. It also is active in restoration of Las Plumas National Forests and sharing gardening skills with school children.
