Taste of the Foothills Tour, April 19
Spend Saturday afternoon, April 19 touring local wineries and premium olive oil producers and enjoying other local foods and attractions, followed by a rustic Italian dinner and a Chinese raffle. Choose from the Northern or Southern Tour. Transportation is provided.
Northern Tour (Chico area) includes New Clairvaux Vineyard & Monastery in Vina, Olive Pit in Corning, and Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico.
Southern Tour (Oroville area) includes Grey Fox Vineyards, Lodestar Farms Olive Oil, and Quilici Vineyards.
Both tours begin and end at the Joe McGie Center, 2812 Hegan Lane, Chico. Registration is at 10:30 a.m. and tours leave at 11 a.m. Tours return at approximately 4 p.m. Dinner and Raffle is from 4-6 p.m.
Cost is $60 per person and all proceeds benefit the Work Training Center (WTC), which serves people with disabilities. Space is limited.
