“Military Friends” Need Names, Not Money
A group of local friends got together and felt something should be done to let our active military personnel know they are appreciated. These brave men and women leave their family, their friends, their homes, and their communities to serve their country by actually putting their life on the line to keep us safe.
A very nice Appreciation Medallion has been designed by local artist, Carmen Hironimus. Our group, Military Friends, asks for no donations. What we do need is help identifying anyone home on leave or just joining/being deployed. We are associated with no organization or church. Our only desire is to let Oroville’s active duty personnel know they are appreciated. It’s our way of saying, “Thank You.”
