California Nut Festival, February 21-24
The California Nut Festival is a comprehensive community-based festival of everything imaginable that is related to nuts. View ‘em on the trees, eat ‘em by the handfuls, and study ‘em for the benefits. The festival is four days of interesting events aimed at every type of audience. It will fill your mind with useful ideas, your mouth with great flavors and your heart with good times.
Every day is full of fun and educational things to do: morning orchard runs-walks (Saturday the 23rd) and blossom bus tours, lectures, lunches, and cooking demonstrations. There will be the Agribee Finals, children’s storytimes, book readings and discussions, gallery displays, merchant specials and tastings, and Fun Day at the Patrick Ranch on the Midway in Durham (Sunday the 24th).
