Free Tax Credit Seminar
The City of Oroville is offering a free tax credit seminar that local business owners, CPA’s and Tax Professionals may find to be very beneficial and timely during tax season. The seminar which is aptly titled, “Your Choice – Send Your Money to Sacramento or Keep it” will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 9 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Butte County Office Complex, (Tahoe Room) 202 Mira Loma Drive, Oroville.
Those attending will find out about five enticing tax incentives that can benefit businesses that are located in the Oroville Enterprise Zone. The incentives are:
• Employer Hiring Credits
• Sales and Use Tax Credits
• Business Expense Deductions
• Net Loss Carryovers
• Lenders Tax Credit
The Enterprise Zone Program was developed by the California State Legislature to provide target areas with a means to stimulate business growth and attract new companies, jobs and investment. Many businesses in Oroville have benefited from the various tax incentives provided by the Enterprise Zone Program, perhaps yours can too!
