Hands Across The Bridge Pancake Breakfast At Bidwell Canyon Camp
Bring the whole family to Bidwell Canyon Campground for a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, August 21 from 7-11am. The $5 per person menu includes pancakes, sausage, fruit, juice and coffee. John and Annie Bidwell will greet the public. The breakfast takes place at the historic Bidwell Bar Bridge at the campground with a flag ceremony performed by Scout Troop #130. The Toll House will also be open and family activities include face painting and horseshoe tossing. An early-morning yoga-like stretching exercise will take place on the bridge. There will also be a Butterfly Release! The State Parks Litter Getter program will also be presented. The famous Toll House cookies will also be available for sale.
This fund raiser is sponsored by the Bidwell Bar Association, which assists the Lake Oroville Visitor Center by funding interpretive programs. Supporting organizations include CostCo, the Sheriffs Boat Crew, Knights of Columbus and the Narcotics Task Force. The entry fee is waived for the breakfast. Directions to the Pancake Breakfast: Follow the Green Line and turn right on to Kelly Ridge Road, then left on Arroyo Drive. Arroyo Drive takes you directly into Bidwell Canyon Campground.
