Community Involvement and Talent Making a Successful Fair

It was organized to promote agriculture, mining, livestock, horticulture, and other fairs and exhibitions. In April 1939 it became the Butte County Fair and moved to Durham but it was not until 1941 that its home was found in Gridley.
