Art Exhibition at Oroville Senior Center


Wildlife artist Rex Burress and Marilyn St. Clair, well known for her work in pastels, are among the artists whose work will be exhibited through the month of August at the Senior Center, 1335 Myers Street. The exhibit will open to the public on Saturday, August 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Titled Celebrating Seniors, the exhibit will feature the works of artists 60 years or older and is sponsored jointly by Artists of River Town and Feather River Senior Citizens Association (FRSCA). Participating artists also include Natalie Sherven, Anna Olson, Cody Lawrence, and Wayne Berry.
This exhibit is the first of several events planned for the coming months which focus on the theme Celebrating Seniors. Following opening day, the art works may be viewed through August 31 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1335 Myers Street, Oroville. The public is welcomed.
Artists of River Town have art shows that change monthly at the Artists of River Town Gallery & Gifts, 1435 Myers Street. The current show features Darla Sittman. Hours are Tuesdays through Saturday from 11:00-3:00.
