Hock’s Melodrama Opens on June 18, 2010
Hocks Unlimited opens with a brand new melodrama on the stage of the Monday Club June 18th. This is the 36th season for the theater group who usually puts the plays on at the end of July or August. TRAPPED IN A VILLAINS WEB or WEAVE ME A LOAN is the title and gives a hint as to the fare of melodrama at its best.
Director Shirley Bugado assembled her cast of long time actors involved with these productions as well as some new faces. Those of you returning for another great night out at the theatre will recognize several of these actors, including Dell DeMeyer, Loren Ott, Rae Kyte, Marcia Ryborz, Dave Enloe, Damon Robison and even me, Barbara Daggett.
Admission includes beer (s), sodas, water and all the popcorn you can stand delivered to your table in the air conditioned and historic Monday Club on Montgomery Street (across from Boss Burger).
There are 5 shows: June 18-19-24-25 & 26 Curtain is 7:45 and admission remains at $12.50.
