New Exhibits at Chico Museum
The Far West Heritage Association announces Chico Museums newest exhibits, The Secret World of Bees and The Richard Marple Beekeeping History and Art Collection. Come explore one of the worlds most fascinating and useful insects. Youll learn how bees communicate, make honey and benefit local agriculture. View fine art and beekeeping artifacts and participate with interactive displays. Opening day activities include a live bee exhibit and crafts for kids. The exhibits run through December 12, 2010.
The Chico Museum is located downtown at 141 Salem on the corner of Second and Salem Streets. Open hours are Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for students with ID cards, and Free for children under the age of 14 accompanied by an adult.
