Lutefisk Dinner, December 5, 2009
This very special dinner begins at 6 p.m. at the Calvary Lutheran Church and includes Swedish meat balls, potatoes, lefse — a traditional Norwegian flat bread — coleslaw, Lutefisk – Cod fish with a béchamel sauce— beverages (coffee, milk, juice), and dessert is Traditional Norwegian seasonal cookies.
It is served family style. All you can eat. The cost is $18.00 Adults, $5.00 children 6–12 yrs under 6 free.
To get tickets, please mail request for tickets accompanied by a check made out to Calvary Lutheran Church. Mail to: Calvary Lutheran Church, 10 Concordia Lane. Oroville, CA 95966
Tickets will be sent by return mail. Be sure to include your return address. Tickets will be sent first come/first served and limited to 150 tickets. There will be no ticket sales at the door!

Thank U so much for this information. My children and I lived in Norway, Scandanavia...in the early 70's. I love there tradition, and still giggle when the youngsters came to our home, after we decorated for Christmas, we over-looked the Fiorde...They said: "Your home looks like a Circus...and so it did!" We love the food, hospitality, smorgsbord's, and everything associated with the special culture... |
