New Gallery Location for Artists of River Town

The Artists of River Town gallery is relocating from the State Theater to a new space at 1435 Montgomery Street, opening with an all-new show on June 30.  The new gallery will return to a five-days-a-week schedule, with regular viewing hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.  The gallery is near Bird Street, just down the block from the theater.
July’s featured artist is Richard Harvey, the well-known potter and ceramic artist.  Other local artists displaying works are Don Becktel, Jean Burg, Freda Flint, Ken Kelsoe, Lauralyn Lambert, John Peel, Don St. Peter, Heather Walker, Richard Ward and Mike Williams.  They will show work in a variety of mediums, from watercolor and acrylic paints to fabric and glass.  The exhibit will continue through July 31.
The new gallery’s first-ever reception will be held Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The public is welcome.  Light refreshments will be served.  Admission is free for the reception and for all the gallery’s regular open days.
